The Brief:
As well as my regular story writing role, I was often invited to cover certain things and write a longer piece (feature) on them. This particular one involved an inspirational visit to Medical Detection Dogs, a charity that trains dogs to help detect illnesses (including cancer) in people. I was honoured to not only be invited to speak with them, but to let people know about them and the great work they do.
