The Brief:
Writing product descriptions was a big part of my role as a copywriter. Some seasons (which lasted six months) I could write more than 1,500 of them. I learned so much about what materials things were made from, and why that was a benefit, as well as why certain toys were made for certain age groups and why the size and shape benefitted them.
This Involved:
I always took my time with product descriptions (as much as I could) because I wanted to put myself in the customer’s shoes, giving them all the information they needed to make an informed decision when they bought from the company.
